São Paulo FC announced last week the new team mascot, Denzel, a caramel dog. Denzel is born with the mission of being the symbol of the permanent campaign of the Tricolor in the defense of responsible pet adoption.

Who is Denzel?

Denzel is a caramel dog that became the new mascot of São Paulo FC. He replaces the traditional Carcará, which represented the club since its foundation.

Why Denzel?

The idea is to promote actions in partnership with independent protectors and entities related to the animal cause, in addition to using the mascot's image in educational campaigns and events.

What comes next?

The team continues to prepare for the 2nd division of the Paraibano Championship and has already announced that it is looking for players born between 2003 and 2008. In addition to the evaluation in Campina Grande, São Paulo Crystal informed that it will also hold seletivas on July 25, August 8 and August 15, but the locations of these stages will be announced later.
