São Paulo FC announced that Ryan Francisco will be reintegrated to the team on June 17, after a long recovery from injury. The 19-year-old forward will be reintegrated when the team returns from vacation. The technical commission's intention is to count on the forward for the rest of the season, after the World Cup break. Currently, the player is defending the sub-20 team. Ryan Francisco ruptured his cruciate ligament and injured his meniscus in his left knee in July 2025. Recovered, the forward descended to a lower category to regain his rhythm. His first game after the injury was on April 8, against Fluminense, in the sub-20 Brasileirão. Since then, he has been a regular starter for Júlio Baptista's team. Ryan Francisco scored the winning goal for São Paulo against Santo André on June 5, in the sub-20 Paulistão debut. The player is considered one of the main promises of Cotia. In 2025, Ryan was the top scorer in the Copinha conquest and moved up to the professionals. In the main team, he played 16 games and scored three goals. The reintroduction to the professionals is part of the São Paulo plan for Ryan's development. Internally, the evaluation is that the absence in the preseason made it difficult for him to adapt to the main team. The São Paulo team will return from vacation on June 17. The national calendar is paralyzed for the World Cup and the next game is scheduled for July 22, against Athletico Paranaense, in the Brasileirão.
