São Paulo FC reaches 2026 facing a severe financial and political crisis. With a net debt nearing R$ 1 billion, the club has encountered cash flow issues resulting in transfer bans and salary delays. The associative management was shaken by the departure of Julio Casares, and Harry Massis Júnior took over on an interim basis. In this context, a study proposes a model for a Football Anonymous Society (SAF) aimed at capitalizing the club without handing it over to investors. The proposal suggests that São Paulo FC should only open its capital if there are protections in place before the capital influx. Internal resistance to transforming the club into a pure SAF is legitimate, but the proposal seeks to build a framework that allows the club to compete more effectively. The study analyzes experiences from other Brazilian and international clubs, highlighting the importance of a solid contract to avoid future problems. The suggested model is an attempt to find a viable path for São Paulo FC, which urgently needs solutions for its crisis.
