São Paulo FC, in partnership with Elgin and GSH Blood Bank of São Paulo, promoted a blood donation drive on Saturday, June 27. The campaign aimed to mobilize the community and increase blood bag stocks in the municipality.
What happened?
The event took place from 7am to 6pm, at the headquarters of the Blood Bank of São Paulo, and featured the presence of the club's official mascot, Santo Paulo. Participants were able to view the SPFC World Cup trophy and received personalized stickers from the “Eu Apoio” campaign, as well as gifts from Elgin.
Why is it important?
Blood donation is a simple gesture, but it has a tremendous impact on the lives of patients who rely on transfusions to continue their treatment. The initiative is essential to bring the population closer to this cause and reinforce the importance of keeping stocks continuously supplied.
What comes next?
The event is completely free and open to the general public. To participate, simply meet the basic requirements, such as a minimum weight of 50kg, being fed and presenting an official document with a photo.
